ACTIVITIES AND CULTURAL EXCHANGES
The Saussurea Foundation conducts an educational program, with excellent results in terms of public receptivity and scientific acknowledgments, and engages in cultural exchanges with over 300 universities and alpine gardens, in Italy and abroad. It organizes teaching workshops and laboratory sessions on nature and botany in the mountains.
Each year, the Foundation publishes an Index Seminum, a list of seeds collected in the Garden and the nearby valleys. It contains about 900species, whose seeds are exchanged with the abovementioned bodies.
